Box 114, Blue Classifieds, 611 Broadway, Suite 405, NY, NY 10012 The ski resort of Killington, located in the heart of the Green Mountains, is moving to the forefront of the East Coast biking scene. The summer biking program includes several races, weekend festivals, clinics and guided tours. Lift service to the summit takes you to over 45 miles of ski and mountain biking trails designed for most riding levels. As you get higher (Killington Peak tops 4,000 feet), the riding gets more rig- orous and on a clear day, you can see four states and Canada. Blistering fire roads and rolling single track through almost tropically dense forest are the norm here. An all-day unlimited lift-service pass is $30 for adults, $20 for children and seniors. A two-rides-to-the-top pass is $20 for adults, $12 for children and seniors. Non-lift trail passes are $8 a day, $5 for kids and seniors. There are many ways to get to Killington. One is to take 1 -95 north to 1 -91 north, which you follow all the way into Vermont. Take 1-91 to Vermont Route 103 north. Follow VT 103 to VT 100 north, then take VT 100 north to VT 4 west, then make a left onto the Killington access road . For more information call 800-621-MTNS.
