First, you take your Zodiacs out of the hull of the ship using a crane and lower them into the water. Second, you lower the gangway to an elevation that's parallel with the Zodiacs. Third, get yourself and your gear in. Most of the Zodiacs have 3Shp outboard motors that allow them to pick their way through a lot of the small debris that falls from the glaciers."
