MOST OF THE SKIERS AT BAN FANG GOU ARE
LOCAL SHEEP HERDERS AND HAVE THEIR OWN HORSES; NON-LOCALS MUST
RENT HORSES FROM HERDERS WHO GATHER AT THE BASE. , ,
These resorts may never be home to an Olympic downhill but they are some of the most unusual skiing conditions on the planet. None have the wildest terrain or receive the most skier visits. And some of them offer mediocre skiing at best. But if you find yourself in the area, seeking an experience, be sure to check them out.
