"Every time something big happens here.
the journalists come to Havana thinking Castro is about to fall." Guillermo Cabrera Alvarez, the director of Havana's Jose Marti International Institute for rnalism, says. "They spend money and stay in our hotels and eat in our restaurants. we say, 'That's right, he's going to fall. .. Tomorrow.' And they stay a little bit longer they wait tor the government to fall. and they spend more money. And we tell them, day now.' But, ot course, nothing happens and finally they go back home. Until the time." He broke into raucous laughter.
