Begin the ski on Mount Valin, ascending Dubuc Peak via the Valley of Ghosts. Hitch a ride on snow­ cats through the Valley of the Eternity River to the Parc du Saguenay. After one waterlogged day rafting through a rainforest canyon, exchange your raft for hiking boots and climb Cerro Chirripo, the highest point on Costa Rica's continental divide at 12,500 feet.
